RACING BACKGROUND & RESULTS

  • CMA National Hare Scrambles  1986 - 1994 in Ontario. Canada.   Top 10 in Junior 250 Class
  • Competed in Ice Race event on 3-Mile Lake in Ontario, Canada
  • Have competed in SORCS and SETRA series from 2007 - Present.
  • Other races include KTM/Perry Mountain 24-Hour Challenge, 8-Hour SORCS team races and 12-Hours of Durhamtown
  • Placed 3rd overall in 2009 SORCS series in Super Senior 'C' class.
RACING GOALS
  • Compete and finish the 2010 Baja 1000 race
  • Place in the 2010 SORCS Series
  • Improve my technique and speed
  • Continue racing until they no longer make spare parts for my wheelchair
MEMORABLE BIKES, RACES AND RIDES
  • First bike was a Kawasaki G5 100cc street/trail
  • First ride ever on a motorcross was a '73 Honda CR250 Elsinore (I saw God that day)
  • Going for a ride on the back of my friend's Kawasaki H2 750 Triple 2-Stroke (saw God again)
  • Most memorable race was the 2008 Alligator Enduro in Daytona Beach during bike week
  • Most forgettable race was my first hare scramble, The Lynn Valley Dirt Riders H.S. East of Toronto.  What a disaster!
  • Most memorable/remarkable memory on a bike was out-running/out-smarting police on my 100 Kawa in the wee hours of the morning was I was 17 years old and full of beer.
  • Current machine is my KTM 300 XC-W with the magic button
